Privacy Policy

IG Mass Media Downloader ("the extension") is published by NovaByteWorks, an independent developer based in India ("we"). In short: your Instagram login never leaves your browser, and we keep only what we need to run the free tier, your licence and the service.
Never sent to us
- Your Instagram password, cookies or session. The extension uses the login already in your browser, the same way the Instagram website does.
- The photos and videos you download. They go straight from Instagram to your Downloads folder.
- Your browsing history, or anything about profiles you only look at.
- Your options and the list of what you have already downloaded. These stay in your browser, and removing the extension removes them.
What we keep
- Your Instagram account id and username, and the usernames of profiles you download, to count your free profiles and to link your licence to your account.
- Your licence key and purchase: the plan, the amount, the date and your email address, to deliver and support what you paid for. For purchases on Gumroad, also what Gumroad reports about the sale: the country of your IP address, the web page you came to the checkout from, and the affiliate whose link you used, if any, so we can see which of our pages and partners lead to sales and credit affiliates correctly.
- Usage and error statistics: how many files a download saved, their size, how long it took, and what went wrong if something failed, including a warning Instagram showed your account. This is how we find and fix problems. Kept in detail for up to 180 days, then only as daily totals.
- Feedback you send, with the email address you give (and your IP address, to stop spam).
We do not sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who handles it for us
Our service runs on Cloudflare, which stores this data for us. Payments are processed by Razorpay in India and by Gumroad elsewhere, under their own privacy policies (Razorpay, Gumroad). We never see your card, bank or PayPal details.
Your rights
Email support@novabyteworks.com at any time to see or delete what we hold about your Instagram account. We keep your account and licence records until you ask; deleting them resets the free tier and removes the licence link.
Children
The extension is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

We will post changes to this page and update the date above.
